I'm currently waiting on my NOA 2 and during this wait I am trying to learn as much as possible about the next steps my fiance and I will need to take so we can better prepare for the interview. I have a few questions that I would like some help with.

  1. I  am currently unemployed. I spoke to the embassy and they told me to bring in i-134 and supporting documents from a co sponsor. Will my unemployment increase the chances for a visa denial? (the embassy also informed me that my co sponsor as well as I both should fill out i-134 even though my income is 0 atm)
  2. What documents are required to prove the co-sponsorship as well as employment/income?
  3. Lastly how long does the co-sponsor have to have been employed in order for the form i-134 to be valid? I want to make sure I find the right co-sponsor for my fiance.

Thank you :)
