Hello, perhaps someone can help me what should we do.

About 3 weeks ago, I picked up my k1 visa package from a courier .It was in normal postal plastic envelope  with my name on it, there wasn't any warning signs "DO NOT OPEN " or any other, just my name and some barcodes. So ,I thought, that inside of it ,will be another envelope ,with my documents and/or instruction what to do, but when I opened, all my documents was loose including my passport with visa in it.

We tried to call embassy, but lady on the phone adviced us to send an email to embassy and wait. We are waiting almost 3 weeks and haven't heard anything from them. my flight is due in 9 days.We are worried and confused what to do,as we can't get hold on with us embassy ? Is there anyone had a similar situation and knows what to do?

thank you xx

Well, you do need your passport for your entry to the US. So you needed to get it out of the envelope.

What other documents were loose in it?
