Form I-485 Part 2 Application type

I am filing form I-485. I just got married to US Citizen and am currently working with visa H-1B.

Could you please help me selecting the proper immigrant category (Part 2: a-h)?

Then you should select 1.b. Employment based -> Alien Worker- Form I-140

No. May I know why do you ask ?

 

But once you submit your AOS application and when you get mail for biometrics appointment, there are two barcodes with I-485 & I-765 printed under them, where I guess they will scan when I go for biometrics (scheduled on Sept 8th). It clearly shows they don't take biometrics into consideration for I-131

Tnks Avinash,I was filling my USCIS forms,and friend told me dat from i-864,i-485 and i-130 he filled in May has a barcode at d bottom..was surprised to see dat it was only i-864. Dat has one

I just learnt that you will have barcode only if you fill the form online and take a print of that. Sorry for the wrong suggestion I gave you because I took printouts of all the forms and filled with blank ink and so didnt know about barcode.
