Good afternoon guys, I sent my N400 application on 2/1/2017, and went for fingerprints on 2/13/2017, today is the 9/2/2017

my status still FINGER PRINTS APPOINTMENT, on 6/26/17 I inquired about my cause and I got on 8/16/2017 I got a letter saying

that my cause is still pending "SECURITY CHECK", then today I got another letter from USCIS stating that they have recently

sent me a "FINGERPRINTS NOTICE" re-scheduled me for fingerprints this coming 9/11/2017.....ANY IDEA WHATS GOING ON???????

*note: I have a clean record, thanks god.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

it's better to call USCIS to speak with Tier 2 supervisor. or make a urgent Infopass and talk with local field officer.

 

less likely, your first fingerprint failed and they asked you to re-do fingerprint. which is passoble.
