No more fee at the embassy. But of course you'd have other expenses now like flight tickets, freight charges for shipping your fiancé's stuff if checked baggages are insufficient for his needs, getting certified translated copies for documents such as his birth certificate for future use while in the US etc.

Don't forget, there will be expenses for the latter USCIS processes. For starters, it would be the AOS +EAD + AP after marriage :)

For my I-129F, K-1, AOS, EAD, AP and ROC detailed timelines, please refer to my timeline page :)

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

My sincerest gratitude to all VJers, especially the late geowrian.

Yup got it aware of the AOS  nice thanks for the response . The only reason why i asked was because my fiance meet acouple at the medical exam they stood in contact. The couple she met attened the interview and she told my fiance she paid a fee at the end of $375 im not sure why maybe they had her pay at embassy since the couple both live in dominican republic. Any way just found it wierd and wanted to clarify

Who did the lady pay the $375 to? That's certainly very odd since K-1 visa application fee is $265 and medical fee is paid to embassy appointed panel physician. You probably need to wait for someone who went through the same embassy to clarify on that :(

We went through the embassy in Santo Domingo in April 2016. All feeds were paid at Popular and at the medical clinic. At that time usatravel doc wasn't accepting online payments for Santo Domingo (I don't know if that has changed). But, we paid NO money at the embassy. Hope this helps. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.   -Phil
