"Yeah but".. yeah, but what about all the other rants that we allow, or encourage, here, from others facing the same kinds of frustrations? It can be HARD to live outside your comfort zone all the time, and being told that your every approach is 'wrong' somehow *does* grate. I don't think HA is being ungrateful, and she's certainly not expressing anything I haven't read countless times from expats in the US (about the US). And she's not "this person", she's right here in the thread with you...

We may well have the same kind of frustrations but we do not type the kind of derogatory remarks as HA has.

I could well off blasted every human being for the mistakes I have made but what would that do??? I have made choices as well as HA has and the only person who we can blame is ourselves. Taking responsibility for what personal choices we have made is what makes a person not blaming a whole nation. I would not blame the whole of America for the actions of a few as I am sure it is the same the other way round. HA has a lot of issues to deal with but being rude on a thread about the British is not something one should do. I maybe wrong but I thought this was about helping one another, giving encouragement along the way, if I have figured this all wrong then I shall avoid coming onto the UNITED KINGDOM thread as you seem to think in the above post that we should all accept the rudeness of these people just because they are frustrated.
