I think Trump wants Sessions gone but firing him would look bad on Trump, not Sessions. You're right in that he appears to be bullying Sessions into quitting. In the 6 months that Trump has been president, there as been more turmoil in his admin than most presidents have in a full term.

Yep, the most amazing bullies ever! Many people are saying this.

 

I'm really enjoying watching Trump fume up and double down on how much of a "disaster" Obamacare is every time the repeal and replace gets shot down. Ibet after that vote yesterday he was on the floor kicking and screaming.
