Hello , I'm applying for adjustment of status have been married to a USA citizen  for more than three years now and I'm in the USA , my questions are ; can I submit my i485 form now with a pending i130 form .. I did received a receipt ( I797C ) since it is complicated some people said wait till my i130 is approved and some said I can submit after submitting i130 anytime and even USCIS complicated this issue as well ... 2 what should I put in part 8 questions 17  yes or no have you violated your immigration status in anyway ... really tricking right ??? Please help out thanks

Yes you can submit your i-485 at the same time while your i-30 is pending.

 

I can't answer your other questions about whether it's a complicated issue or whether you have violated your legal status since you didn't give any details.

Thanks a lot for your answers the new i485 asked if I violated my immigration.. status which is probably a yes but if I answered yes is it not a kind of trap and a delay maybe .. 🙂 , also there is a section of the law that waived the inadmissibility  ground for immediate relative of a USC filing AOS even if they  violated theri immigration status I'm awared this but think it won't be helpful if I said "YES" maybe a NO and explain I don't know what it means lol
