Hi to all!

First, I would like to thank everybody for whatever input they can give! It is highly appreciated.

A couple of weeks ago we sent off our I-130 petition to the USCIS field office in Rome. Although we haven't received an NOA1, we called about 1 week after we sent it (just to check if Poste Italiane didn't mess up and lost the envelope) and were told that it was received, that the check would be cashed that same day and review would start the day after.

Reading timelines from italian-USC couples here going the DCF route, we figure that in not too much time we will get NOA2 and will start working on putting together all the documents.

Since we'd like to be proactive and be prepared, I looked into what vaccinations are required. I do have a vaccination record from when I was a child and another one from Montana State University from when I was a student there and needed to PQ to go to Antarctica for field work, but still, a few vaccinations on the list I found (https://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/immigrate/vaccinations.html) are still missing. For example varicella. However, I had chickenpox as a child and thus should be immune.

Could an anyone give some insight on which vaccinations they could show on their record when they went in for their medical? Which ones are ACTUALLY needed and do you suggest getting tested for immunization for the ones you've had as a child? Also, do you suggest getting the ones that show on that list but you can't show on your immunization/vaccination record!?

Thanks again for all your input!
