Embassy Review : The embassy is in the nice part of Naples. It's ran by Italian guards who don't speak English which was an issue for me because they wouldn't let me in the embassy. I'm an American citizen and they let my wife in for her interview and he told me to wait outside. The people behind me were next and he let them both inside and when I asked him why he can and not me he said one goes in and two goes in then one and so forth. I was pissed. Then he tried to tell me I couldn't be by the waiting line outside the gate. He said I had to leave across the street away from the embassy. This was all in Italian and after he left another lady for the interview translated it for me and I still didn't leave. After ten minutes the people at the entrance rang and asked the guard to ask me if I was an American citizen. I showed him my passport and they let me in. They need bilingual guards if they want to work for the embassy.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
