I got my green card based on VAWA in october 2014, so it's going to be 3 years meaning i can apply now even if I'm divorced correct? Where i get lost is the eligibility status:

      1.  Have been a lawful permanent resident of the United States for at least 5 years.

      2.  Have been a lawful permanent resident of the United States for at least 3 years. In addition, you have been married to and living with the same U.S. citizen spouse for the last 3 years, and your spouse has been a U.S. citizen for the last 3 years at the time you filed your Form N-400

not sure how i put my eligibility since none of those options seem to fit...

Also, i dont have to wait till exact 3 years since i received green card, right? can i apply 90 days before that?

Thank you! tried looking up this info, no luck.

If your ex is a U.S. citizen, you can apply under the three-year rule. You would be able to apply within 90 days prior to the the third anniversary of the"resident since" date on your green card. You would select Part 1., E "Other" under eligibility on the form. For the reason, you can put something like "VAWA" or "Approved I-360 - abused spouse of USC" or something along those lines. Someone else might have suggestions on better language for the "Other" field.
