Hello all , i am the beneficiary of this i-130 case that is now with the NVC. They sent me a check checklist on February 15, 2017. We have managed to gather all requested documents but it took us 3 months to get all the documents. NVC received our files on 05/23/2017. So i called them on july 10 2017, thats 3 days ago and the lady i spoke to said they got my documents and they need 6 more weeks to review.

We first submitted my i-130 application 10 years ago

Any advice on how this can be speed up ?

Thank you

There's no way for you to speed it up. NVC takes up to 11 weeks to review all documents they received from you. It may be faster than that but not guaranteed. Mine took 7 weeks to complete the case, other cases took 11 weeks. Every case is different. Just hang in there and wait.

If they need something else, you will get an RFE and it will reset your waiting time.

If everything is fine they will complete the case and put you in line for the interview date. It depends on the consulate you have and their schedule.

Got this today after sending an ASK NVC email

We received mail for this case. We are experiencing a high volume of incoming mail at this time. For current processing times, please visit our website at nvc.state.gov/submit (English) ornvc.state.gov/enviar/espanol (Spanish). We are diligently working to reduce our review time and appreciate your patience. NVC will notify you after our review if there is additional information required or if we are able to schedule your case for an interview.

fingers crossed
