IRS Tax Transcripts

Hi All,

Had this question posted on Dec 17 topic but thought I would create separate post just in case this question was never addressed previously. (sorry I couldn't find it and sorry for repeating questions)

Quick question.. I've filed the I-751 on Dec 12/19/2016 and NOA is 12/20/2016 and Biometrics is 01/26/2017.

1. I did not send the IRS Tax Transcripts when sending the i-751 package. Instead I send the tax return copies. I know this might cause me to receive a RFE. So recently I requested the transcripts and got them through the mail. Should I send the tax transcripts now? or wait until "If" I get the RFE.

Anyone have links to samples on how to send additional documents?

2. I did not change the address through AR-11 (we moved twice since receiving conditional greencard back in Feb 2015) when fililng the I-751 but did use the current address and received NOA and biometric appointment letters to my current address. Should I still file for the AR-11 now? I heard that if I use my current address when filing I-751 I shouldn't have problems but some people are saying we should.

Thank you All!

There's no way for you to send the additional evidences for your application. You really have to wait for an RFE if indeed they ask you additional proof of evidence.

Hm that is strange... when I was collecting documents for my I-751 I was told that you could indeed send additional documents afterward even you have not receive RFE

You can submit additional documents. This is also stated on I-751 NOA, read the 4th paragraph that starts with "If you have not already done so, provide supporting documents ... " on your I-751 NOA letter. However, there is no guarantee these additional docs would be appended to your folder. Why? Because of the labor. Someone literally needs to find your folder sitting in a box on a shelf among 100thousand other petitions and put these new documents to your folder. If you make inquiries later on, service center could always claim they never received your documents. If I were you I'd wait for a response first and then send additional docs but if you want to send them now, NOA says include a copy of the notice alongside the supporting documents.

FYI... my case was also approved without an RFE with copies of HR block returns. It all depends on the mood of the officer that would handle your case I guess.

edit: I found this NOA from 2010 on the web. Mine (from 2015) has different wording but the paragraph I mentioned is the same. i-751-removal-of-conditions-noa-L-1.jpeg
