Ok so here it is....May 7 was our interview...1 pm.. So before that, we already prepared all the documents required (you can see that on the Notice letter they sent you for the initial interview, there's a checklist there, so that's what we followed)...Here's what we brought with us:

1. appointment letter----

2.form I693A- supplemental form for ds 3025----

3.My passport and my husband's ( plus copy of each; i also copied the my visa)----

4.Your husbands naturalization certificate, but if he doesnt have it passport will do (thats to prove that he's a US citizen)

5. Birth certificate of me and my husband

6. MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE and copy of it back and forth

7. Copies of all the documents we submitted with the AOS package(i485,i765,i864,tax and w2's,2 recent pay stub of my husband)

8. EAD if they ever issued one to you

9. Proof of genuine marriage (joint bank accounts, all documents where your names are written together)----In our case we only submitted the joint bank account coz that's what all we have since i dont have my ssn yet my husband cannot include my name on other documents.

10. photos..

Ok so here's the story..We arrived there 10 mins before 1. The guard took our appointment letter and forwarded it to the officers inside..Then after about 15 mins of waiting the officer called our names..We went inside the office and the officer asked us to sworn in.

After that, he pulled out a handful of files. Those are all the documents we submitted starting from day 1 of processing the K1 visa...He went over it (just reading it),then he set it aside and he went on the aos package we submitted....He pulled out all the forms, read it again and just asked me to double check everything (my birthdate, spelling, passport #...thhose stuff).....Then he asked for my husband's certificate of naturalization, for some reason my husband doesnt have it so we gave him his passport instead.and thats ok...Then he asked for my original birth certificate ( he didnt really get it, he just used it to compare with the birthcert copy i submitted, coz the copy was a bit blurred)...Then asked for the copy of our marriage certificate....then the joint bank account.... after that the questions:

A. Our you living in a regular house or an apartment?? --yes or no ( he didnt asked for contract of lease)

B. FOR MY HUSBAND: Are you still working for this company??? yes or no (he didnt asked for employment letter and pay stubs)

C. How did you meet??--My husband answered it VERY BRIEFLY

D. FOR ME: Do you receive bills or other documents with your name togetger in it?? ---yes or no

E. BOTH:Have any children?? yes or no

F. BOTH:Ever been married before??? yes or no

Then he said he's gonna go ahead and approve our case! Then he stamped my documents approved! Then he discussed the next step whcich is for the citizenship but its gonna be for the next 2 years.. He shook our hands and said " It wasn't that hard huh?? and he winked!hehehehehe! Maybe we just got lucky....

If you have any more questions feel free to asked me...

And we're in henderson, Amber Ridge Community along greenway....Its a bit far from the busy life of vegas...i kinda hate it coa its boring really...hehehehe!Are you already working???Me I just got my permit to work last week so now is just job hunting time for me...Im almost frustrated actually!...And where you from in the Phils??? Im from bulacan!

hi jeh!

thank you so much for sharing your interview experience! despite the fact that you're very busy, you were able to spent time to write it and it's very articulated. I really appreciate it! It's such a big help for me! And I know it helps others too.

We did not photocopy everything we sent. Do we still need to submit the form i-485 and I-864? did you submit another set of them? About the I-693, I submitted the sealed envelope already, but I do have photocopy them and the original ds form from st. lukes.

My husband is american, so i have no worry for his proof of citizenship. hehe. I only applied for GC no EAD and AP. My place in PI is in the South- Surigao City. I'll pm you so we can bla-bla sometime.

Once again thank you so much!

Good Bless!

They didn't asked for another set fo copy of those forms, but just to be sure i just copied it,since it is included in their checklist...Regarding the I693 that's fine, I wasnt able to include mine with my aos package thats why by the time of the interview i still have it with me.......You can bring your i693 copy, just give it to the officer if he would ask for it...
