Hello everyone,

I am looking for some advice. I am in the process of compiling my husband's documents for the Removal of Conditions for his conditional green card. The instructions for Form I-751 says that you have to provide your USCIS account number  "If you have previously filed an application, petition, or request using the USCIS online filing system (previously called USCIS Electronic Immigration System (USCIS ELIS)), provide the USCIS Online Account Number you were issued by the system. You can find your USCIS Online Account Number by logging in to your account and going to the profile page."

However, when I try to login into my USCIS account, it tells me that the account has been locked for either - account inactivity or too many failed password attempts. When I click on "forgot password" it asks for my username and then says it's invalid when I enter it. When I click "forgot username" it prompts me to answer a security question "where did you get married?" and when I enter the answer it says it's incorrect. I have emailed USCIS support and got an automated response "Your inquiry has been received. We appreciate your patience as we respond to each request sent to us in the order in which they have been received."

My questions are: 1. Does anyone have any idea of how long it takes to get an actual response and resolution with this type of tech issue? 2. Is there another way that I can find that USCIS account number? The instructions say "If you previously filed certain applications, petitions, or requests on a paper form via a USCIS Lockbox facility, you may have received a USCIS Online Account Access Notice issuing you a USCIS Online Account Number. If you received such a notice, your USCIS Online Account Number can be found at the top of the notice. If you were issued a USCIS Online Account Number, enter it in the space provided. The USCIS Online Account Number is not the same as an A-Number."  I do not remember receiving any "USCIS Online Account Access Notice." But it seems that I would have had to given that I had online access.

I'm concerned about this causing a delaying in sending off the application. His green card expires on July 15, 2017. If I do not hear back from USCIS support and cannot find the number elsewhere, my thinking is to send the application in without it and then deal with a RFE for that if it comes.

Your thoughts and advice are appreciated.

I just realized that the section where it asks for the USCIS account number is under the section "About you the conditional resident." Therefore, I believe we should just put NA for that because he never had a USCIS online account. I had the account when I filed the I-130 form.
