After a long week of stressing on when the US Embassy in Nassau would receive our package from the NVC, they got it!!  I called this morning and spoke with Ms. Darling, who was extremely nice and helpful.

She sent an email to me explaining who to call to make a medical appt for my fiance. She also sent a checklist of items he needs to bring with him to the interview.  So I called the medical office and they had an appt for next week! But my fiance has to take another round of immunizations on the last Thursday in July; therefore, they made his appt for the first week in August.  Oh, talk about FRANTIC!!?!?

So I email Ms. Darling back with the medical appt date and she said it was too soon to make his interview appt.  The schedule for August was not available yet.  She recommended that I email her back the first or second week in July.

Oh...we're moving right along. And here I was all stressed this week wondering if we had enough time to finish everything before the expiration date on that NOA2!

Everyone have a great weekend.....I can too, now.

Sorry for the delay, I only access this site on my desktop at work.  I received NOA2 on May30th.  NVC sent the package on that following Monday, June 5th, and Nassau received it on June 9th. But only after I called there almost daily to make sure they got it. So less than 2 weeks!

Be proactive.  Call the US Embassy and see if they have your case. Do NOT wait for them to contact you.  You will be waiting forever!

When prompted by the automatic voice message, dial extension 4197.  The lady's name is Ms. Darling.
