From what you wrote in your blogs, the problem was the Affidavit of Support. So, as soon as you get that to the Consulate, you are sure to get the PINK. Good luck

I used to be indecisive. Now I am just not sure ...

I was unsuccessful in deciphering the language on your website.

What was the problem with the Affidavit of Support? I remember another post you said your wife had the wrong W2 form. Could she get a letter from her employer? Or did you show tax returns from previous years if one wasn’t available this year? Please share!

Good luck in getting what you need as soon as possible & getting a granted visa!

Thai-Pham is notorious for writing messages in Vietnamese HAHAHAHA!

Philip, do what they ask and wait for the answer. I want to share with you a little trick I used when I went through the very same process... Think like a US Consulate Officer!!!!!

Here is what I would think and question your case If I were the C.O.

1. Gosh, how many fruit cakes can one be eating?

2. Asking me to see your website at the interview is pointless, You should have shown everything you want me to see and support it in your application with solid evidence.

3. Seem to be too good to be true, everything goes by the book in your case. Fruit cakes for every holidays!!!!

I'm just kidding with you Philip, but seriously, you need to stay very focus at this point and what is the speicific reason(s) they use to delay/request for more info from you? Please share!

"Xin cau nguyen cho toi va cho nhung nguoi yeu nhau ma phai song xa nhau nhu chung toi duoc doan tu voi nhau som de bu dap cho nhau nhung thang ngay song trong su nho nhung"

This sentence really struck a chord in terms of my feelings. I agree and can empathize with you as i am in the same situation. Hopefully everything gets resolve and we can be with our love, because there really shouldn't be a piece of paper keeping two people apart. Best of luck....

we are getting married July 3, so not so far from yours. Anyways, what is your status? any updates for us. Regarding the affidavits, if they ask for tax, just call the IRS office and request the transcripts, or whatever form it is depending on your fiancee's type of work, and get them soon, i got it back from the IRS in about 4 days, so it was fast. You might want to get it right away, you never know how long they may make you wait....since 2006 taxes are done already, you should ask for that too along with 2005.

We haven't got it yet...hic hic... you can check ours if you can read Vietnamese... :yes:We will update here. We are waiting transcription of tax return 2006, and then will call IRS to get 1722. In this time, we only use tax 2006.... And how's your case ???

Good luck to you all ! (L)
