I am not the one one sponsoring her. Also the USCIS website states that an invitation letter is not required

Sorry for the confusion.  I was answering Mstameka who brought up the subject of sponsoring for a visitor visa, needing your financials, and needing an invitation letter.  He is insisting that he's right even though the State Dept's website contradicts him.

If HE is sponsoring her then yes he needs to send in financial records, according to Ghana visa you must have a invitation letter along with your application. Trust me, I know people who had to provide these items when applying for a visitor visa in GHANA, but that's only IF he is sponsoring her

According to Ghana visa?  Who's that?

Please show us an official website where it says that a person can sponsor for a visitor visa or that an invitation letter is need along with the application for a visitor visa.

The US State Department which is in charge of all the US embassies states on their website that invitation letters are not considered; https://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/visit/visitor.html

Note: Visa applicants must qualify on the basis of the applicant's residence and ties abroad, rather than assurances from U.S. family and friends. A letter of invitation or Affidavit of Support is not needed to apply for a nonimmigrant tourist visa. If you do choose to bring a letter of invitation or Affidavit of Support to your interview, please remember that it is not one of the factors that we use in determining whether to issue or deny a nonimmigrant tourist visa.

Go to www.ghanaembassy.org. If y'all say he doesn't need it then he doesn't need it, but people who have applied for a tourist visa needed financial statements, idk.

www.ghanaembassy.org is not a US Government's website.

Vaguely amusing.

Again if you say he doesn't need it, why are you going back and fourth?

I'm not going back and forth.  You are the one that said he needed his financial statements and needed to send an invitation letter.  I showed you the instructions from the US State Department.  You give us a non-US website with an idk (presumably an "I don't know") to support your ludicrous assertions that he needs to send his financial statements to Ghana for someone else's visitor visa application.  Your advice is wrong, dangerous, and stupid.  Sending his financial statements to Ghana for someone else's visitor visa application is just stupid as it sets him up for identity theft with no benefits for his GF to get a visitor visa.

My advice is not dangerous, wrong or stupid. I went thru this same process of having to send my documents to my boyfriend at the time, and yes i no what I'm talking about. Your not from ghana and you don't know what they ask for. Although the USA embassy might not ask ghana will.

I'm glad you been to Ghana and know all about how they operate 🤔🤔🤔✌✌

If i may ask, did your boyfriend get the visa? Im wondering what the chances are for my girlfriend. Because she will say she's visiting her boyfriend when she's asked the purpose of her visit

Ghana does not issue US visitor visas, the US Embassy does.  What does Ghana have to do with getting a US visa?

I don't need to know how Ghana operates.  Ghana does not grant US visitor visas.  I only need to know how the US Embassy operates because they issue visitor visas.

You don't seem to know how it operates to get a US visitor visa in Ghana.  Ask your boyfriend.
