Interview date rescheduling

Timeline

Hello everyone,

 

After a 12 week wait from my CC.I just got my interview date today, for mid-july. i was wondering if anyone had been sucessful in resheduling their dates backward, i.e for an earlier interview date. For such person, Insight into how they got this done will be very much appreciated. My consulate is Lagos Nigeria.

Yes I know many who changed from varies embassies. All you can do is email the embassy and ask.

3/31/2020: submitted service request for being pass normal processing time
4/7/2020: Card being produced
4/8/2020: Approved
4/10/2020: Card mailed
4/15/2020: 10 year green card received

5/21/2019: NOA1 Date
6/13/2019: Biometrics Appt
2/27/2020: Citizenship Interview
4/7/2020: In queue for Oath Ceremony to be scheduled
6/19/2020: Notice Oath Ceremony scheduled

Thanks so much for this response, It gives me hope. We will complete our medicals soon as we receive the interview letter and then reach out to the embassy. Thanks again. Hopefully, something will open up soon.

Thanks for your response. I just got the date today, so waiting on the interview letter to be able to do medicals. Believe me 6 weeks is a long time, even for preparations. We've been preparing for the past 2 years.

Just thank God for your own. You can write USA embassy in Lagos to help send your interview letter through your email, because I was told last time by someone that the medical takes another two weeks to be ready. I wish you the best in your interview. We are still waiting for NVC for our case to complete.
