I had my interivew jsut couple of weeks ago on  the afternoon, and sent missing 221g document related to my petitioner tax return form right away after the interview. I sent my passport when I sent forms as following the green slip instructions include current passport.

And, I got a phone call from AIT that they will sent back my passport as they do not need at moment. (consular officer said no, according to the office lady in AIT) and I received the new green slip and noted, We will contact you.

What's going on with my case?. and we will contact you means, they will let me know the result of immigrant visa petition will be approved or refused when AP finished ? or just new second interview will be scheduled?

Need other people's experience and help.

Many thanks.

Hmmm...interesting.......so the only item listed on your 1st green sheet was the USC's tax return?  What is the current status as shown on the CEAC site? Does the 2nd green sheet say that they still need something?

From my experience, AIT works very fast.  If your case is in AP, hopefully they will make a decision in a few days.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Yes sir, They only requestsed the 1120 tax return of my future petitioner. The weird thing is , Preparing the interview right before meeting with CO, The AIT middle aged office lady handed me out the pink slip written in , Civil documents and there was a quote noted, PLS ref to FPU? , I was quite wondering the reason they gave me back this slip to me, FPU investigation finished ? quite weird. My CEAC status showed AP and updated on 17th May, But right before the interview my ready status was changed to Transfer In Progress _ and ready, Finished the interview, Now stucked in AP........ The answer I got we will contact you only. CO told me they do not need any other document without tax return forms.

I am not an expert, but it seems to me that they are scrutinizing the 1120 tax form.  That's a business income tax form, right?  I found this about pink slips:

Pink Slip: A 221g Pink slip is handed out when your application needs further administrative processing. The consulate will notify you once the processing is done. This form is most likely issued when the Visa Officer is doubtful about your current employer or work related information.

"Refer to FPU"? Fraudulent Petition ?

If they are sending your passport back to you, that could be an indication that the Administrative Processing might take more than a few days.

It sounds like you have NOT been denied.  They are looking closer at your documents......just my opinion.

Good Luck.  Hopefully, they will resolve this quickly.
