So we received our biometrics appointment letter for the East Hartford, CT application support center. We'd like to try a walk-in this coming Tuesday, which is much more convenient for us and after the holiday.   We can't find the office number to ask if they accept walk-ins, only an automated line about office closures due to weather, and we can't even find info on their Memorial Day closing days/times.  I read some old posts on VJ saying the Hartford offices are grumpy about walk-ins and sometimes don't allow them.  The office is over an hour away each way for us so we don't want to drive so far for a walk-in only to be turned away at the door.

Has anyone had experience trying to get a walk-in at this ASC?  Is it worth a shot?

Thanks for your help!

Thanks so much for checking in about this!  The ASC was totally deserted when we got there and there was less than 10 minute wait, but they were VERY grumpy about it.  One employee actually wagged his finger at us and asked us if we'd show up ten days early to a doctor's appointment...We showed him the letter that said most locations accept walk-ins and he still had sour grapes.

Still, in and out with no troubles and very glad we were able to speed up the process!
