Totally -- anytime!

Will do. He is home recovering and as soon as he gets back on his feet he will get it done. I will let you know all that he shares with me.

Am gathering our files (for the interview) now, so made me think of this --> If you like to be proactive, try preparing your interview folder/file while waiting for your CC/interview date. It will take some of the stress off when you are ready to go!

Here is to a speedy CC/interview date assignment for you and yours... :)

hmm.. thanks for the tip.. i already started preparing actually..

I will ask you if i need any help with the folder.. thanks :)

Great! Please do, but I think you got all your ducks in a row.

What ever you do, retain paper copies of all forms you send. If you have several versions of the form downloaded, it can cause some confusion when you need to re-print it for interview etc. -- ahem, it happened to me recently with my I-864 (the freaking barcode thing, I had several forms downloaded), hence why I am mentioning it. :P

Will be in touch!

The I864 that we sent, we already have a scanned copy in pdf format so we won't be having problem related to bar code. we're printing and labelling every document with sticky notes. So far we don't have any problem. We will ask you if we need any help with something.

Thank you so much :) Stay blessed :)

Hello @amul
Please give me some info about what to expect after getting CC.
do they emailed you that you got your cc?
does NVC schedules an interview by itself and informs you about interview date OR you need to do something about that like making an appointment from New Delhi US embassy website?
did you get your medical examination done?
From where did you get your medical examination? Max in Delhi or SRL?
how was your experience about medical examination?

All the best for your interview.. :)

Hey @AJR19

Just scheduled hubby's biometrics appointment in New Delhi, it is next week. He is going to call Max in Panchsheel Park and see if he can get an appointment on the same day so that he can get both done on the same day.

I just want the medical and biometrics done way ahead of our interview day. Makes life less stressful ;)

Will keep you posted on how it all goes!

You are waiting for your CC right? It should be right around the corner for you ;)

I found out about our CC when I was checking the CEAC site -- I notice that my AOS info vanished (this info becomes invisible temporarily while the CC is updated) so I called the NVC right away and lo and behold, we had our CC!

Keep an eye on the CEAC site if you can...

Alrighty then -- this am got an email from the New Delhi Embassy. One was for missing documents, huh? Seriously, how did they manage to lose our marriage certificate?

Second email was a few hours later -- it was confirming our August interview (but no date was mentioned, again huh!?) and also going over the biometrics/VAC/medical info.

Just an FYI ;)

It is a great feeling, no? Try to file this day under a fab(ulous) day and when you get stressed out, pull it out and remember how amazing this felt. That is what I do with all my good days, "cuz" bad days can really be rough on the sensitive kind.

Anyhow, enjoy your day -- you have earned it. :star:

@AJR19 -- got some biometrics update for ya! :)

My husband just had his biometrics done today. He said it was a breeze (unlike the New Delhi traffic!), went in, was told what he needed for the interview (be there 15 before, all the paperwork that needs to be brought etc.). He was given some documents to read. Then he waited 5-10 minutes and had his biometrics done. That is all!

He said everyone was very courteous and the whole process was very efficient. There were no crowds and he did not have to pay for his biometrics.

Hope I could remember everything he told me -- let me know if you have any questions and I can always ask him for you!
