Hello everyone,

I'm just wondering if anyone enter their ds-160 confirmation number to interview appointment? I'm confused the site is saying you should make sure to enter correct confirmation number wheb scheduling appointment. However, I cannot seem to encounter that field where they're asking me for the ds-160 confirmation number.

Does anyone see this field? Or does anyone linked their ds-160 to interview appointment?

I'm so anxious rightnow, I don't want to have mistakes as it will probably cause delay.

Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Yes I have read that also, yet I know most don't complete the DS-160 until later.

Don't worry about entering the number to schedule the interview if you can find a space to do so, as long as you are allowed to get your interview scheduled all is good.

Complete the DS-160, print out copies of the confirmation page as you will need copies for St. Luke's the 2nd day of the medical and then a copy is needed for the interview.

Yayy!! Thank you so much sir for confirmation. :)

I was worried because I've seen some appointment confirmation in google when I searched it they have this barcode from DS-160. And I was wondering if all K1 applicants have this barcode in Appointment confirmation because mine it only have UID.

One thing sir, do you think I will have problem with my visa appointment since my name in visa appointment doesn't match in DS-160? My name in DS-160 has middle name while in visa appointment doesn't have.

Please see attached file. :)

Thank you again sir Hank! Have an awesome day!

UID is what most have.

You shouldn't have at issue at the interview with your name.

Did you enter your middle name with your first name as given name?

Hello sir Hank,

Yes sir, I have enter my middle name. However, when I emailed the USEM for assistance they instructed my to correct my name in DS-160. It means that I should remove the middle name so my name in DS-160 and interview appointment confirmation will match.

It's confusing though since most of the thread I have read here in visajourney they said that middle name should be included in DS-160.

What is your thoughts on this sir?

Attached is their instruction.

Thank you in advance. :)

Given name is your FIRST name and MIDDLE name, and they must be listed in the DS-160 as that is name used to issue the visa.

DO NOT change the DS-160... it must be correctly completed.

When you setup your profile online for USTRAVELDOCS you listed your first name and middle name together?

When you arrive at the interview you passport and DS-160 will match, (do pay attention to the first word of their sentence "GENERALLY" ... that is a way of saying it might happen.. .might.    I don't see you having an issue.
