Hi!

I borrowed the account from my fiance because I have a question about the CFO Seminar that is required for Filipinos. Some background - I haven't lived in the Philippines for a very long time. My fiance and I are actually living in Cambodia right now, and that's where we got our visa interview. We want to travel to Brunei, Philippines, and Korea before finally travelling to the US (mostly because I want to go to all the countries I've lived in). I did not know about CFO Seminar until very recently and I'm a little confused about what I needed to do. I've already made an appointment for it, since I'm not sure if they're gonna let me leave Philippines to go to even just Korea without a sticker on my passport (?).

Anyway, I have a couple of questions:

What if I only have my passport as my original ID? As I mentioned earlier, I haven't lived in the Philippines in a while, and I don't actually have any other valid IDs other than my Passport. The only one I have is my NSO birth certificate and it's listed as a secondary ID. Does this mean I can use that?

What is the Certificate of Family Relations? It says "of foreign spouse", so does this mean it doesn't apply to me? Since we're not married yet?

Am I correct to assume that "guidance and counseling form" and "emigrant registration form" are forms that I will be getting from the CFO when I have my seminar? Or is there a place to download it online?

So there are questions about how I need to fill in my fiance's phone number and address, but since he's been living in Cambodia with me for the past year and a half, his address and phone number is Cambodian, and when we leave Cambodia for ultimately the states, he has no home address and no phone number in the states, at least not immediately. So I actually don't know what I would write there.

Thanks so much for any help anyone can give!

Thanks so much for any help anyone can give! Have you gone to the CFO and read the directions.  They spell out everything that is required.

Thanks, I was just curious about the forms I have to fill out when there. I'm not very good with memorizing stuff - for example, during the interview that I had, I was asked what my parents did in the states and I knew they worked for a factory sort of company... I just couldn't remember the name at the time. It's a good thing it didn't get weird after I failed to answer that question. Anyway, I'm just worried that at the time where I have to fill up the form, I won't remember stuff I need to write, so I wanted to prep for it extra hard hahaha. I mean, I don't even remember my own phone number, let alone his. It's all just on my phone!

I do know that I have to be at the CFO-Manila an hour and a half before the seminar. Some of the things that I've seen mentioned here aren't on the list that they ask for as requirements, like the CENOMAR. I didn't get one because they didn't ask for it in the embassy here in Cambodia, and since it's not in the current list of requirements, I don't think I'll get one.

Anyway, thanks for the help! I'm a lot more relieved that this won't be as hard as I thought it would be because I've read the stories and I don't see any reason why I would be denied this certificate/sticker.
