Question about relatives while another relative has an approved I-130

I am a USC and my wife has an approved I-130, we are now in the process with NVC.  Her parents were hoping to visit once our case has been fully approved but they wanted to start the process of getting their tourist visas.  Would their chances of getting tourist visas be hindered by the fact that their daughter has a pending case still?  I tried googling but I couldn't find an answer anywhere.

Their chances are slightly better now than they will be later if she decides to take US citizenship. Their job is to demonstrate that they have no reason to stay in the USA and every reason to return to Russia. The interviewing officer won't know that their daughter has an ongoing petition unless they mention it. Of course, if asked what the reason for the trip is they must answer truthfully. But they shouldn't volunteer any information that is not asked for. No invitation or promise of support or anything like that from you will help their case. It will be decided entirely based on their own situation.

Timeline in brief:

Just out of curiosity since I've no experience with tourist visas. From what I know, the applicant must list any relatives in the USA. So I'm assuming that they don't have to list the legal status of those relatives?

Married to US Citizen. I'm the beneficiary.
