Depends on your circumstances (history, if you have any red flags, what embassy you're going through, etc.). There is no minimum relationship time required, if that's what you're asking, but you do need to show proof of an ongoing relationship with the intent to get married within 90 days of entry into the US, and having met at least once in person within the last 2 years.

 

The USC files the I-129F petition for you, and all the kids must be listed. Once that is approved, it is sent to NVC, then to the embassy where you will interview. Then you will fill out a DS-160 to apply for the K-1 visa, as well as a DS-160 for each child that will be coming with you to apply for the K-2 visa. Then you will complete the requirements for your embassy, get a medical and police certs, and interview. If approved, you get the K-1 visa in your passport, and each child listed previously gets a K-2 visa. You do not have to travel at the same time as the children, but they still must travel within the visa's validity period to use it.

 

Once in the US and married, you and each child must apply for AOS to get a green card.
