My wife applied for a visit visa two years ago at the Islamabad embassy and was told that she should wait till i am citizen and then go thru the process and there was no way they could issue her a visit visa and they returned her passport with a stamp that said application received.

I have gone thru the K3 proccess( I am a citizen now) and saw a question on the DS-156 in which it asks "Have you ever been refused a visa?" what should be my answer to that?

I appreciate any help

Thanks

Khurram

The truth.

I know I ave to write the truth but the question here is that if I would write that her visa was refused or not as technically they never refused it or maybe I am confused and that was a refusal

Khurram,

Get the word "technically" out of your vocabulary.

Your wife applied for a B2 visa. The consulate accepted the application for processing and did not approve it. Nothing 'technical' about it - her visa application was refused.

Yodrak

The truth.

I know I ave to write the truth but the question here is that if I would write that her visa was refused or not as technically they never refused it or maybe I am confused and that was a refusal
