I'm sorry that you are in AP. Unfortunately, there's is no way to know for how long you could be there, could be days, weeks, or in worst cases years.

Why you don't give more information about your case, so others could try to find out possible reasons.

Also, even when CO didn't say what was the problem, by explaining and detailing how was the interview, the questions they asked, sometimes is possible to get an idea of what could possibly be the problem.

Thank you, but my wife and I provide all the necessary documents, we use a company call rapidvisa. Well through my interview all the questions based on me, nothing much about my wife, Am from Africa a country called the Gambia,I met my wife through interview fb, we communicate one year online before she visited me here in Hong Kong nd got married legally, and I had two kids, and my wife know all of them and we mentioned them in the petition, so the consulate question based on me, where is my kids, how old are they, have i been married before,, why did I live my country, how did I get to Hong Kong,, who is taking of my kids, nd who did my kids live with, and I answered all the question the way it is, could it be she disbelieve me, bcoz am bit nervous during d interview, never thought she will question like that? Could this be the reason, if it is what are my chances? Please help me,

Did CO asked any documents during the interview?

What were your answers? seems she focused a lot in your kids. Are they leaving to US with you? or staying there?

Currently what is your status in Hong Kong?

You need to be patient and wait a week or some to know what other documents they will ask you.

Since you did the process through an agency, did they told you something about you in AP? providing any possible solution?

Am a asylum seeker, though Kong Hong didn't give real asylum, but they let you stay as long as you want while they process your case to move you to third countries, but am under asylum living legally almost three years and the consulate knows this, so she asked me what problems I have in my home country, I told her the same problem as I told to Hong Kong immigration when I first come here to seek for asylum, I have no criminal record in Hong Kong or anywhere in the world. As she asked me if am been arrested by police before. CO didn't asked me anymore documents as I told you we provide everything, also I don't understand why rapidvisa didn't told me nd my wife about AP!  Answers to my kids, I give there age, date of birth as exactly in the petition! About who they live with, my daughter is 4 yrs living with my mother, my son 2 years still living with his mother! My son was born when am already here in Hong Kong 5 months, No my kids are not leaving to US! That's all! We provide everything still she put me on administrative processing is so frustrating we really need help,

The reason could be the kids... Depending on how you answered the questions relating your kids it could give the CO some sort of indication that you're not bearing responsibilities for your children and somewhat leaving them behind to start a new life. Think about it like this. In the U.S you are required to support your children (child support. etc.) If in the mind of an american CO it seems like you will not be supporting your children and simply just leaving them behind then that could arise a concern. In the U.S if an american citizen owes more than $2,500.00 in child support funds they are not even eligible to receive a passport unless they work out a payment plan or work out something to ensure that they are paying that back. So think about it in the CO's standpoint you're leaving 2 of your kids behind without giving them a peace of mind that you're still taking responsibilities for your children even if they are not coming along with you. BUT that's just one reason it could be anything if CO didn't give you specifics i could be totally wrong.

I'm agree with this, probably she wants to look more over that aspect.

You can't do much except wait for them to ask you for more documents, another interview, and the decision they can make.
