Considering Naturalization + Permanent Residency

My husband and I have to make the move back to my home country due to my father's health. I've been a LPR for four years. We've discussed me getting my US citizenship before we leave. The US is truly my home now, so to throw away four years of living here seems difficult, and we may desire to move back in the upcoming years. Meanwhile, my husband has to file for his visa/permanent residency to my home country. Could we do this at the same time? (Filing for my US Citizenship, and filing for his Australian visa). Or will that be a red flag for the USCIS and my citizenship? Thanks.

No I dont think it would be a red flag at all. You are eligible as of now to file for citizenship. Its your right too to file for your husband to get legal residence in your home country.

i wish you a fast process for your applications and I hope your father gets better.
