I just had 2 a US based background checks in California for new jobs.  My DUI from 9 years years ago in Wyoming did not show up on either of them!
I did and would recommend to others to disclose, but its annoying that it didn't show after I stressed over telling them!

FBI records will show all arrest, from 50 years ago, even if you where not found guilty, just when the cops say  "you are under arrest" will be in the FBI records. Just apply for a Concealed weapons license, you will find out quick.

And the FBI have access to all the records all over the world? I'm inquiring about records in my home country of Australia. Regardless, I think the overall consensus is disclose, which intend to do. Thanks
