you will hand the officer the envelope, you will be taken to an office to review your paperwork and your passport stamped with the temporary i551 stamp valid for 1 year

 

that means you are a resident. have you paid for the physical card?

he won't ask you that because you are a resident coming to live to the US

 

you aren't entering the country as a tourist

 

yes, if you paid for it, it can take several months to receive it, so the stamp in your passport will able you to live, work and travel until you get the GC in the mail

Only advice would be to still be truthful and friendly with the CBP officer. As mentioned, they won't ask about the duration of your stay because you've been approved for a residency visa, however you're not a permanent resident until after you're admitted. If you're found inadmissible for any reasons (illegal activity, conflicting story, etc) they still have the power to turn you away.
