Hi,

 

Is it likely that a foreign fiancé will be denied a k1 visa if he/she has never had a job, is not currently working but the sponsoring U.S. citizen has an income that is more than 125% of the poverty guidelines?

nope, it doesn't matter if she works as long as you can sponsor her.

It depends on the totality of the circumstances, not just the minimums. But yes, somebody can be issued a visa with no prior work history.

I have an anxiety disorder which makes me unable to have a job at the moment, so I've received some kind of early retirement pensions for disabled/sick people in my country for the past 1.5 year. I also dropped out of high school two years ago because of my anxiety problems. 

 

My boyfriend and I would like to apply for a k1 visa for me in the future, but we are worried that the application will get denied because I could be considered likely to become a public charge.
