what usually happens if your case is outside of normal processing times for example my husbands i601 still is yet to get a response from the lincoln nebraska center he sent it april of 2016 and my lawyer has told me it is officially outside of normal processing time and she sent an e-verify mail ... so wgat usually happens after that ?

She should send an e-request in, you can also have

a congress-person involved to check status, the processing

can be 6-12 mths depending on how complicated your case is

after 6 mths the atty can begin to check

mine was outside of processing time, 11 months. i contacted state senate and got approval in 3 days.
