Just recently i became US citizen and have requested USCIS to update I-130 for my wife and daughter from LPR F2A to family of immediate relative. It has been almost a week since request was submitted over the phone with USCIS agent. Two cases were open T1E...... (case numbers).

Based on the case status chart, I-130 of USC has been approved beyond the priority date of my I-130 i.e as of Feb 28th update CSC (California Service center) has processed I-130 upto Sept 16th 2016. My I-130 was received and given priority date before sept 16th 2016 so i am assuming as soon as the category of I-130 is upgraded it will be actioned immediately.

Now my question is how long usually does it take USCIS to upgrade I-130 from LPR F2A to immediate family member of USC.

Note i haven't sent any proof of USC since i wasn't asked anything over the phone. Anybody has any idea, it will really help if you can provide some timeline.

if your daughter was a derivative of your wife, you shouldn't have become a USC

for your daughter, you will have to start all over, there are no derivatives for children under 21 of a USC

you can call them to see if your wife's category has been changed or email them with case number and copy of citizenship certificate

so immediately, send the i130 again

I filed I-130 for both my wife and daughter as LPR at the same date. Both I-130s priority date is same. Since i filed both I-130s after filing N-400 and i knew that i had to file separate I-130s as USC for daughter after becoming USC hence i was ahead of it already. Now you said to e-mail copy of citizenship certificate, which e-mail address should i send the naturalization certificate?

Do i need to send I-130 again?
