I read some posts in here that say that CR1 visas were denied because one has applied to an F1 visa while in a relationship with a US citizen.

I met my boyfriend while on a J1 visa then came back with an F1 visa (still in a relationship with the same person) then renewed the visa, then applied to the OPT, then applied to the extension of OPT then got married (6+ years of relationship with the same guy) and kept the OPT WITHOUT AOS, the next step is to leave for my country and stay there couple years and do the CR1 process.

Did I do anything wrong? Will I face any problem?

Ah, okay. Well did the CO ask you if you're in a relationship?

No, the visa interviews went really fast and smooth:

My first F1 visa was given to me after couple questions: "You've been in the US before?" "What do you want to study?"

The second F1 visa was a nice conversation on what I was doing and he asked me to apply to grad school after I finish.

If they never asked (and assuming you didn't lie about it) you should be fine :) If you're worried, just frontload a bunch of evidence for your Embassy interview.

We've lived together for 4 years (during both my F1 and OPT), I will use this and pictures. Not feeling like using text messages (maybe selected ones) because I feel like it's too private but we'll see.

I felt the same, but we still did it because it's important. Use stuff like speaking of your future etc

How many texts do you think I should put in? I will probably select around 20-30 from different years, that should be enough.

Thanks for your help
