Hi!  Is beneficiary's birth certificate a "must" in initial filing of K1 Visa application?  Because I've checked with USCIS, this one is not included but if you'll watch YouTube videos they've added this.  'Coz my beneficiary still needs to do some corrections re his birth certificate, I'm thinking of filing the said application without my beneficiary's certificate.  Please I need your advice. Thanks in advance!

Thanks a lot Karice, what do you mean in a long form?  Make the story long or put it in a long bond paper?

Birth certificates are typically issued in two forms, long and short form. Short form are the smaller ones that just have your name and DOB on it. Mine fits in my wallet. The long form is the much bigger one that has both of your parents information on it, along with the hospital, and your registration and filing dates on it.
