Have you travelled on Advance Parole being legal?

I have been always legally here, on a tourist visa, then on a student status.

I have filed for AOS,

I have the Advance Parole.

I'm planning to travel next month.

What should I expect?

Are there no worries?

I've always been legal in status while in the US as well, and I had an AP. I travelled back to Canada in January 2006 and had no problems coming back home to the US. The only blip I got was that the customs officials attached to Amtrak in Vancouver, Canada received very minimal training on how to locate and verify APs, so it took them almost 30 minutes to get me through but they were very polite, and very reasonable.

You should be good, just give yourself extra time, carry your passport and marriage certificate if you need to account for a name change to any official documentation, and wear a smile.

Just make sure you have some time between flights (if you are doing connecting flights) so you don't have to go running after you are done clearing customs. And make sure to take a copy of your marriage certificate with you as backup information. Have a great trip!
