K1 visa requirements with death certificate

Hello,  

 

i have all of my documents completed and ready to send however I have some corcerns with my application.  Will it get approved with an attachment  of her exhusband death certificate? She sent  his death certificate to me to send with the K1 application.  If if her cenomar says they are still married will the death certificate with the application still get approved?  Or does she still need to do a status change before sending the application.

Are you sending in a 129f petition or has that already been approved and you are ready for the actual visa application?

if for the 129f petition you can include a photo copy of the death certificate,that is how I did our petition. at the petition stage cenomar is not needed yet,it only applies in the Philippines.

 

The death certificate from NSO has to be authenticated,she also will need an updated cenomar showing no marriage too. but those items are needed for when she goes to the interview.
