Hi, my name's Rochelle a filipina and i reside from huntsville, Alabama a divorce and Im a US citizen. If anyone could help me I'd appreciated it alot. I have a question about my case, I am planning to get my fiancee in Dubai, she's also a Filipina that works w/ great company and has a UAE Resident card. How can I start to file for her? And in my status this is the same Sex case..  Would you pls help me what should I do before getting start my plan? Would it better K1 or Tourist Visa? I known her and we've been together for a while. She also plans what If she'll apply for tourist Visa? Tourist Visa good for 6 months only or that depends what visa will be issued for her, then once her tourist visa is granted I will meet her and let her stay and I will have to marry her within after 90 days or less. Guys any advised? Thank you

If you want her to come here permanently, you need to file for a K1 visa. Using a tourist visa is not an option.

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.

 

K1 process

4/28/16: Interview (approved)

Delayed entry due to work

Of course I do want also, but what if just tourist visa because thats fastest way and then I can just change her status here once we get married... I dont know, but thanks also for ur advise

If you do this (knowing IN ADVANCE) that you will get married in the US than she can't come on a tourist visa to get married. That would be visa fraud.

 

You can file K-1 while she is still a fiancee or CR-1 if you are already married.

No, that's not a legal path. She will be denied entry at the border if you try to do that.

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.
