HELP! Getting passport through INA-320 (child citizenship act of 2000)

Hello everyone, first time here in this forum. I tried to find a topic with a situation like mine but I had no luck so here I am. 

I've been wanting to apply for my citizenship and as I was looking around I found that I can get either the certificate of citizenship or a passport under the INA-320.

• My father is a U.S. citizen.
• I came to the U.S. as a permanent resident on November 2011 and I've been living here since then.
• And I was less than 18 years old at the time I crossed (I was 15).

According to this, I automatically became a U.S. citizen the moment I stepped on U.S. soil but we didn't have the money to process the certificate or a passport at that time. So now that I have the money I'm wondering if using this process and conditions would work for me since I'm not under 18 anymore. I haven't been able to find information that states if I can still file my passport or N-600 with the conditions met after I turn 18.

Also, if I'm able to file my passport, do I just show up with the required documents at the office or what are the steps I need to take.

I haven't applied, I posted this question in 3 different forums and I haven't got any useful replies.

Yes, you can still get the certificate or a passport.  Once you became a citizen, you are one, whether you document it at that time or not.  You will need to prove how and when you met all of the requirements of the CCA.
