Hi, I'm a spouse of an LPR and my priority date is on July 5, 2016. I have received a letter (NOA2) last Nov. 17, 2016 from NVC telling me that they have received my case from USCIS. I need some advise if I should wait for a welcome letter before collecting all the

documents needed on our AOS and IV packet or we can start collecting documents as early as now so we can submit them right away when NVC will send us a welcome letter and cheklist for our packets as our PD for filing becomes available on chart B?

Did you call NVC to get your case number?

Not yet, our case number is already written on the letter that they sent us last November. But we still don't know our IIN yet. Should we call before we proceed on collecting documents?
