hi everyone,

actually i am very late for all the documentation thing for NVC. Now i got stuck in tax section of form I-864 and the problem is i moved to USA in 2014 august 31 and it took a little time to get adjusted and find job. well i started my job from jan 2015. i didn't filed the tax for 2014 will that be okhey??

and how should i answer have you filled a federal income tax return for each of the three most recent years??and other thing is i already have a joint sponsor as i didn't worked for whole 2016 year but  i just recently started working a self employed truck driver.

last but not the least my priority date for interview is couple months away and still i havent done my nvc documentation, will it significantly delay my case?

as long as you made less than the amount that required you to file taxes in 2014 then just include a letter stating that. if you made over that amount just file the taxes and look at the threshold for exempting your foreign income from bring taxed.

good luck

If you had no income at all in 2014, and nothing taxable, you didn't need to file.  You will have 2015 taxes, and perhaps 2016 (not needed until April, but you can submit them if you have them).

Not sure on a delay.  I would imagine as long as you have stuff ready by the time your priority date rolls around, you won;t be delayed majorly.
