Hi all , 

Just curious , I  sent the packet on November 22 , delivered 27 ..

I didn't receive a text or email  . however the check was deposited into my account .

My question is do they go over the packet to ensure everything is OK before sending a text or email ?

It's possible that they didn't send the notification. They're supposed to, but I've heard of cases where they missed it. It's unusual that you didn't get the NOA1 in the mail, though. You may want to call them and check on the status to confirm that it was received and that the address info is correct, and get the receipt number so you can track the progress online. November filers should have received a NOA1 by now.

 

No. They only check the bare basics (check and maybe the I-129F itself for signatures...as I've seen updates to cases about that fairly quickly). You won't know if something was missed or something else is needed until they actually start processing your form. That said, if you're a Nov. filer, that will probably be in the coming weeks anyway.

5/1/2017: Case received by Manila (1 week embassy transfer??? Lucky~)

7/13/2017: Interview: APPROVED!!!

7/19/2017: Visa in hand

8/15/2017: POE
