Hi friends,

The name of the beneficiary in our case was different (from Maindan name) written by the Petitioner in form I-130. My petitioner called NVC to sort this out. NVC advised to write an email detailing things along with copy of the latest passport copy.   Petitioner did that. And today we got a reply from NVC that "The name was updated based on the documentation received."

I thought to share it with you. It may be of some use to someone.

Surprisingly my invoice id is different from others. It's the one i mentioned earlier. Alpha numeric consists of 16 characters. They may have changed the pattern.

I've added names of my children. Its been accepted and now i can pay for the whole family .

Guys.. what do u think the next visa bulletin will look like. . Let's hear ur thoughts. . Has anyone received IL between Jan n march 15th..

Considering, last three years (2015-16-17) there was not much movement in the bulletin from May to June (0-0-15 days respectively) But in 2018, it was a change of 6 weeks from May to June.

Usually, when we get close to year end (Sept is the year end for US Fed govt or for quota purpose) the bulletin starts to be very sluggish or almost no movement.

From 2015-16-17, the change was almost negligible from June to July. But since this year the bulletin is moving faster than it has been in last many years - so I’d be hopeful of good movement next month.

i really want 6 weeks, but 4 weeks would be good too. Although Practically I think it will be 3 weeks, may be 4 weeks.

Hi Amdavad2018,

Thank you, I mailed the package yesterday to NVC

I called them before mailing it in to inquire about the aged out child and they said the following which they had also email to me:

Currently, this case cannot be reviewed for applicability of the Child Status Protection Act (CSPA), as there is no visa number available according to this case's priority date and visa category.

Have you heard anything about your aged out child.

PD 06/30/2006

Oh yes, received a response email from NVC stating that as of now NVC is not determining cspa process from USA. It will be referred to the local's country's embassy, and at the time of the parent's interview, the visa officer may consider the child's case.

What about the fee to be paid for CSPA child? Have you paid or will it be paid the day of interview?

The CSPA child is already in US (on F1 visa). Does he need to go to India at the time of his parents’ interview or can he adjust the status in US without visiting India.

He MUST joins his parent's interview in India, because Consular Officer has ultimate rights to decide if he is eligible for CSPA. And then he will be issued immigrant VISA by US Embassy in India (after the interview). Therefore, he cannot get an immigrant VISA in the US as CSPA child.

Before going back to India, he should asks the police certificates from all the country where he lived more than 6 months.

Hi May2006,

The W-2 it self will only have one name and Social Security Number , if the husband and wife are filing taxes jointly you are required to send in W-2s of both husband and wife but it is not necessary for both of them to sign the Affidavit of Support as long as the one person (financial sponsor) income meet the poverty guideline.

I am the financial sponsor for my nephew's family, so I called the NVC to find our if my husband need to sign the Affidavit of Support form / fill out a AOS form and the above information was given to me.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.
