Hey all my priority date is August 23 2016 what does that necessarily mean? Does anyone else out there have the same priority date or similar to that? what happens next I really don't understand I'm really confused can somebody help me? I'm a US citizen my husband is in Pakistan when should I be planning to go to the interview thanks

Take a look at that link, and being from Pakistan you would fall under "All Chargeability Areas Except Those Listed" then check your visa category.

 

NVC will only start processing your case when your Priority Date becomes current, and once they complete your case (6 to 8 weeks) they'll schedule the interview which could be 2 to 3 months later.
