Hello guys!! Just wanna ask who among you here booked their fiancé through China Airlines? My fiancé booked me a flight from Manila to Honolulu through China Airlines. Should I bring the copy of his card and authorization letter upon check-in?

Check with the airlines on what their requirements are. The best thought is to have all your "ducks" in a row and have a copy of his CC and letter for check in. It may not be asked for but it's better error on the side of "too much" then on the side of "not enough". I think you have already figured out what to do. Safe travels.

Are you laying over in China?

No. I'm laying over in Taiwan! :)

I flew in China Airlines to visit my fiancee in October and on the way back in November. There was a stop in Taiwan. Everything was fine.

I had a nightmare deal with Air China back 2010, regarding laying over.  I will never step foot inside China again.

China Airlines (China) and Air China (Taiwan) are totally different, despite the similar names.
