Hi guys, my friend has requested me to ask post this here since he is not in this portal. So he has his visa interview scheduled on 20th January, he just received a copy of the original petition which the petitioner sent to USCIS he noted a problem on form I 129f and form i-134 (info about foreign fiace's children)the petitioner erroneous wrote the wrong date of birth of his son 2013 instead of 2014.He is worried and confused of which office he should contact to have that corrected or should he wait until interview date to bring that to the CO's attention. His case is now at the Ethiopian embassy.

The child's visa application should obviously have the correct information, as will the child's birth cert, both of which will be presented at the embassy/consulate interview. At the time of the interview, an explanation about the error in the DOB should be presented.

To be certain of the proper steps to take, an inquiry to the interviewing embassy may be warranted.
