This is a great website and I have got a lot ideas and I will still need your guys help. Right now I started to fill the forms we need and later on I will have some stupid questions and today I have one:

On the first line of G-325A, what is the "File Number"? Should I put "I-129F" there? But the cell starts from an A. And should I leave it blank? I am confused.

Thank you for your help!

Andy

Its for an alien registration number. If you dont have one you leave it blank. For a USC put N/A

Look at the example forms in the guides section. :)

A US citizen might or might not have an alien registration number depending on how he obtained citizenship. The question is very much applicable to everyone, US citizens included.

A US citizen has an alien registration number if he obtained citizenship through naturalization or through his parents' citizenship.

A US citizen might not have an alien registration number if he obtained citizenship by birth.

so if a person recieved his citizenship through naturalization. should he have put his a number at this spot or put US citizen.

I just put US CITIZEN. hopefully it works out. When i was applying for my us passport the person at the post office said that just leave it blank on the passport form. They can find the number if they want to. But i guess this is something way more important. What you think?

The question asks for the alien registration number not if the applicant is a US citizen. Of course you should write the alien registration number if you have one.

I don't think it matters too much however. I have an alien registration number but I wrote NONE in that spot. Nothing was mentioned about it. But I still filled out the form incorrectly and could have gotten an RFE for it.
