Biometrics Appointment- Detroit

Has anybody heard of something like this before?

I had my biometrics appointment this morning, and they had to take my fingerprints 3 times because QC rejected them for not finding the "delta" in them. They still couldn't find it on the third set, so the supervisor just said that I probably didn't have one

I did a little bit of research and I think they were talking about the "delta point". I wonder if there would be any problem if I do have them and they just failed to capture them

I hope this doesn't cause any delay on my AOS

Good luck - I hope you don't get delayed. I've just had my fingerprints taken for the third time because the FBI computer doesn't like them. Fingers crossed for all of us...

they had a hard time taking my fingerprints too... they scanned every finger about 5 times and the computer kept on rating my fingerprints really low.

You bet I have my fingers crossed

I can't believe they had you come 3 times for fingerprints!! :o You would expect them to know what to correct/look for by the second time

Did they say what they didn't like about them? at least I know they were looking for my "deltas"

they had a hard time taking my fingerprints too... they scanned every finger about 5 times and the computer kept on rating my fingerprints really low.

Yeah, my ratings were kind of low too, they were all in the low 70's. I was the first one to get into the office this morning, and the last one to leave of the ones that were in line with me

I do have to say that the guy was nice enough to take my picture twice after I didn't like the first one that he took

I didn't know biometrics was this complicated. Did you had to pay three times for each appointment?

I think it's normally straightforward - most people turn up, have their fingerprints taken, their photo take and go home. That's it. But of course there are some cases that have problems...

I've only been charged for the first set of biometrics. The other appointments were free.

(But that doesn't take into account the cost of my wife taking the day off work and hiring a car to drive me to Hartford.)
