Seems like some people received RFE for color photo id. Our attorney didn't tell us to submit colored ids, and we just submitted black and white zerox of our passport. Do you have to submit colored ids????? This is very new to me and I am very shocked.

You're building important, permanent, identification documents, and shouldn't need an attorney to tell you to stay away from the photocopier. Read up. You have a responsibility to be aware and informed about the serious process you're undertaking.

Not sure what's behind Jersey's post, but I can tell you my experience. I submitted black and white photocopies of everything and it was fine.

So you have a B&W photocopy of your picture on your EAD card?

What? The photo on my EAD card is the one they took of me at biometrics. I don't really have much control over that.

What are you getting at Jersey? The OP isn't talking about submitting color photos, but whether color photocopies of ID such as passport is required for AOS submission rather than plain old B&W ones.

Thanks for your info as always! May be my question wasn't clear and confusing, but I am glad you got it.
